Câteva gânduri după Bookfest Chișinău

De fiecare dată când vine Bookfest la Chișinău, visez să parcurg pe îndelete fiecare milimetru al zonelor ocupate de edituri. Să răsfoiesc în tihnă și să descopăr titluri pe care nu le găsești cu ușurință pe rafturile librăriilor noastre. Vin cu acest plan în târg, dar la final se lasă cu emoții și cu oameni, cu multă căldură și „cuprinzeli”.
Anul acesta, Bookfest a făcut „Recensământul îmbrățișărilor”, o inițiativă care vine să ne amintească despre elementul uman al acestor evenimente. Pentru că nu e doar despre comercializare de cărți, ci și despre interacțiune vie, lansări și o adevărată retrospectivă de inițiative culturale. Iar valul de cititori a dat buzna și a cumpărat teancuri de cărți chiar și în lipsa POS-urilor care are fi făcut totul mult mai simplu.
Am reușit să ajung doar la o zi de târg, dar a fost tare fain. Mi-a plăcut mult standul Nemira cu toate noutățile din colecția Orion și cu titlurile lui Stephen King. Trei a avut o bogată selecție de titluri din domeniul psihologiei, dar și favoritele mele din sfera crime. Polirom a venit cu o selecție de autori români și cu titluri de istorie, pe care mi le-am trecut deja pe lista viitoare. Prietenii de la editura Paralela 45 au adus un Raft al autorilor basarabeni, dar și o lansare de excepție a volumului „Garderoba”, lansare care a avut loc la Teatrul Alexei Mateevici și care s-a bucurat de un publicat variat.
Bookfest Chișinău este deja un fenomen, nu doar un simplu târg de carte, ci mai degrabă un soi de experiență editorială, culturală și profund umană, pentru că ne reamintește că în spatele cărților sunt tot…oameni.
